Parent Advisory Committee
The Office of Educational Support Services is committed to parental involvement, which is a vital factor in the provision of supportive services.
The Medford Township Special Parent Advisory & Resource Committee (S.P.A.R.C.) is a group that provides a forum for parents to discuss important challenges facing the children in our schools and community. It is based on the principles that parents are a child’s best advocate and that they have a right and responsibility to oversee their child’s education.
The mission of S.P.A.R.C. is to facilitate, collaborate and work in partnership with all stakeholders and community members to promote inclusion, celebrate diversity, and understanding and respect for all children within our community.
A diverse variety of topics are presented throughout the school year, which are designed to inform and stimulate the interests of all who attend. Parents of special needs children, school professionals, and the general population are invited to attend meetings. Your participation will provide you a unique opportunity to meet school officials, consultants and other parents, stay informed on policy and legislative changes, ask questions, discuss issues, and learn something new.
