Parents/Guardians,

It’s that time again: sports physical season! And because deadlines apparently enjoy sneaking up on people, here are the dates in very large, impossible-to-miss imaginary flashing lights. 😂

🚨 PHYSICAL DEADLINES

• ❄️ WINTER SPORTS PHYSICALS ARE DUE OCTOBER 15, 2026
• 🌷 SPRING SPORTS PHYSICALS ARE DUE FEBRUARY 16, 2027

Please do not wait until the deadline to schedule your child’s physical or submit paperwork. Students cannot participate until all required paperwork is completed, submitted, and cleared.

🔎 “But I don’t remember when my child’s physical expires...”

Good news! You don’t have to remember. Genesis remembers for you. A rare moment when technology actually makes our lives easier.

Log into Genesis → Athletics → Eligibility to see your child’s most recent physical date and current status.

A few important reminders:

• Sports physicals are valid for 365 days from the date of the exam.
• Depending on the date of the physical, a Health History Update Form may also be required.
• Please use the current 2026–2027 forms from the Nurse’s Webpage.
• Turning everything in early gives the nurses time to review the paperwork and gives everyone time to fix anything that's missing. Because discovering a missing form the day before tryouts is nobody's favorite activity.

Please mark those deadlines now: OCTOBER 15 for WINTER and FEBRUARY 16 for SPRING. 🗓️
