    Welcome to Fifth Grade!

Fortunately for me, I have been a part of the Medford Township School District since graduating from Rutgers University in 1992.  I began my career as an 8th grade Special Education teacher at Memorial School.  After three years in that position, I switched to a regular classroom position.  I taught 5th grade at Haines School for five years and then joined the Cranberry Pines family in 2000.  With the exception of 4 months as a third grade teacher, I’ve spent the rest of my career as a fifth grade classroom teacher.

On a personal note, I grew up in Stratford, NJ. After graduating from Sterling High School, I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree and Teacher of the Handicapped Certification from Rutgers University and a Master’s Degree from Marygrove College.  While out on a sabbatical leave, I completed my Supervisor of Instruction Certification.

Currently, I live in Marlton with my husband, Mike, and two children, Casey and Nicholas.  I spend most of my “free” time with my family chaffeuring them to dance classes, sporting events, gymnastics lessons and theater rehearsals. I also enjoy cooking and relaxing on the beach.

I’m looking forward to many more years as a Medford Township teacher.
