I am Lucas Coesfeld, proud principal of Cranberry Pines Elementary School. Prior to this, I was a Vice-Principal at Upper Freehold Regional Elementary/Middle School working with children in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Before becoming an administrator, I taught kindergarten and first grade in Montgomery Township Schools in Skillman, NJ.
My wife Tina and I are the parents of three wonderful children. Because I grew up in Florida, I still have the warm weather in my blood. Although I have to admit, I still get as excited as the children when a snow day arrives. Our family typically returns to Florida each year to see our children share in the same experiences as I did as a child. Beyond education, my second passion is salt water fishing. My family and I spend much of our summer on the Gulf of Mexico in search of the big one!
I invite you to peruse our website to learn more about our school. As you will see, the Cranberry Pines family is home to 400 children who attend kindergarten through fifth grade. Our students come to school each day eager to learn together through a true sense of school community. Our dedicated staff ensures the continued academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. Together, our parents and teachers work collaboratively to provide the best education for the children of Cranberry Pines.
Please take a few moments to read through my monthly newsletters that will get you acquainted with some of highlights and events here in our school.
