•  My name is Nicole Ahrens and I began my teaching career in Medford Township in September 2000.  I graduated with a BA in Elementary Education with a coordinate major in Spanish from Rowan University.  From there, I came to Medford to help create an Elementary Spanish program and teach Spanish to children in grades 1-5 at Allen School and Taunton Forge School.  After three years of teaching Spanish at the two schools, I received my Masters Degree in Teaching and made the move to 2nd grade teacher at Taunton Forge where I've been ever since.  I love 2nd grade!

When I'm not in school, you will find me with my husband and three children.  We keep very busy with activities including sports, church, and school.  I enjoy summertime activities like kayaking, fishing with my son, relaxing on the beach, and just being outdoors.  I love photography.  I adore watching my kids play their sports and perform.  Reading, gardening, and cooking are also some of my favorite hobbies.

I am lucky to be able to work with such wonderful children and colleagues each day here at Taunton Forge!
